More than a fundraising walk, Relay For Life is a movement.

For 40 years, passionate supporters have come together to advance the American Cancer Society vision: ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. Relay For Life celebrates survivors, honors caregivers, remembers loved ones lost, and raises funds to help ensure everyone has the opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.

Each event reflects the unique spirit of its community while embracing four signature traditions:

• Celebrating survivors: Honoring those who have faced cancer with courage and resilience.

• Recognizing caregivers: Acknowledging the dedication and support of those who stand beside their loved ones through every step of the journey.

• Lighting the way: Remembering those we’ve lost through the meaningful luminaria ceremony.

• Taking action: Bringing communities together to help create a future free from cancer.
